BlueCross BlueShield Gets Physical with the First Ever Airport Health Fair

AMI, along with Clear Channel Airports has successfully launched the first ever 'Sponsored Health Fair' within an Airport Environment. The program, sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield, was up and running last summer in the Philadelphia International Airport for four months and included multiple Health Fair Days.

The kick-off theme was built around educating travelers on health-related exercises that can be done with a simple band along with a calorie counter. The counter measured calories burned while walking between terminals and results displayed via a large touch screen. During the fair, two times every hour, a 15 minute session took place with a Fitness Pro, engaging and interacting with hundreds of interested passengers.

This program allowed Independence Blue of Philadelphia to reach myriad prospects and customers in a unique way that tied directly to their brand.
