AMI's Free Passenger WiFi Launched with the New Indianapolis Airport and Omaha's Eppley Airfield
AMI has recognized the increased passenger demand of free WiFi services in the airports and has spearheaded a new solution. We partnered with Advanced Wireless Group to come up with a model that would replace fee-based programs in various airports and one which would not encumber passengers to wait through a series of advertisements. The Free Wi-Fi Service launched with the opening of the New Indianapolis Airport earlier in 2009 and has been deemed a huge success. This new model allows for traditional advertising opportunities as well as unique integrated sponsorship options and is quickly deployable. AMI also operates free Wi-Fi in Mineta San Jose and Omaha Airport (read press release).
