Airport Marketing Income (AMI) was launched in 2003 by two aviation industry veterans Brad Jersey and Shelly Klapper. Airports faced a myriad of challenges in the post-9/11 travel environment including the dramatically higher costs associated with new security requirements and increased dwell times for passengers arriving earlier to the airports.

Airports that include Boston Logan, Charlotte Douglas, Cleveland Hopkins, Phoenix Sky Harbor, St Louis Lambert, and others contracted directly with AMI for Marketing Income initiatives, allowing us to create many “first-of-their-kind” programs. Marketing Income opportunities represented new lines of long term non-aeronautical revenue for airports while also enhancing the passenger experience.  Marketing Income categories include naming rights, sponsorships, special events, promotions, experiential marketing, supplier sponsorships, product/pouring rights, and audio rights.

Over the last 15 years, AMI has partnered with many more forward-thinking airport managements to design sponsorships that deliver new revenue streams that enhance the passenger experience. Our executive team has over 25 years experience within the Aviation Industry, and we possess a deep understanding of the challenges faced by airport executives today. We understand the importance of “revenue per enplaned passenger”, we know the challenges that parking managers face with ride-share services and off-airport parking competition, and we know the focus on enhancing the airport customer experience. Our unique development process identifies local challenges and establishes potential brand partners to assist with achieving your passenger experience goals, solve key business issues, and lend financial support for unfunded projects and initiatives.

Marketing Income was created to foster brand partnerships between airport management and a select group of consumer brands interested in making the passenger experience better. We build sponsorships that keep airport business objectives in mind and offer brand partner solutions to offset some of the challenges associated with keeping millions of passengers moving through your airports.

AMI is uniquely positioned to work on behalf of airport management teams or in conjunction with your selected advertising vendor. Over fifteen years of successfully managing every detail associated with these programs has given us unique experience and perspective on the importance of absolute flawless execution inside your airport. AMI manages the process every step of the way from design, approvals, production, execution and ongoing measurement. We serve as Agency of Record (AOR) for a number of global consumer brands interested in helping make the travel experience a great one for your customers.
